A blessed and happy 2016! We are welcoming the new year in anticipation of hopes, both for us and Nepal. 2015 was probably one of the most challenging years for many in Nepal, but we’ve also experienced God’s grace in our lives. Earthquakes in April and May, house hunting, finally moving, Indian blockade. Despite these challenges… we are here! Thank you so much for being part of our 2015! We appreciate every prayer you have said for us and every support you have given to us. We thank God for your love for us!
We have been in the UK for the last three weeks – visiting churches, meeting friends and family and celebrating with them. Yesterday, we were talking about how comfortable we have felt with friends and family here. We will leave for Nepal on 10th January. We are excited to go back, but we are also apprehensive about what we are going back to. Nepal is in the midst of winter and perhaps this is one of the hardest winters we have ever faced. With no gas to cook with, or fuel to drive or run generators, heating and hot water facilities are impossible. We don’t know what 2016 will hold for us, but what we know and are certain of is the One who holds our future and we are safe in His hands.
Thank you for your continued prayers and we look forward to our continued journey together.
Love and blessings,
Phil and Pratiksha
